Three Routes That You Can Take to Learn ... - Education - EzineMark

?

Before you actually start studying the Spanish language you need to take the time and do some preplanning. Only when you preplan, will you have the best odds of achieving your goals. When I am referring to preplanning, I am referring to choosing how you want to learn Spanish. Yes, you can actually learn Spanish in more than one way. The three different ways that I am referring to are: Spanish software teaching programs, college classes, and the go buy a textbook and figure it out on your own method.

?

When it comes to learning Spanish, the method that I recommend above all the others is using a Spanish software program. These programs provide you with many great tools and personal support features that you rarely get in a classroom environment and cant imagine finding if you decide to use the old school textbook method. These great tools or product features vary with each different software program. The variation is why you really need to take a couple of hours and compare the product features of different programs to see if the software program offers what you want and need to learn a new language.

?

For instance: if you are worried that you may learn the Spanish words wrongly then you may want to look for a software program that offers a speech recognition tool. Speech recognition tools are computer software programs, which records your voice when you speak into a microphone. The program analyzes the words you spoke and then tells you how the words should sound. Thus allowing you to modify your speech patterns so that you will be able to be understood anywhere Spanish is spoken.

?

Another learning method that you may be interested in learning Spanish with is the college course method. It's no big surprise that you can learn to speak Spanish at just about any college. What a lot of people don't know is that you do not have to be a student pursuing a degree in order to take the courses. Most colleges have programs for non-degree seeking students. A non-degree seeking student can go to a college and sign up for the classes that he or she wants to take. It's that simple! The benefit of learning a language at college is based on the fact that you will be surrounded by other students who are there for the same purpose. In addition, you will have access to a professor who can correct you and keep you on the right path to becoming fluent in that language. The major downside to this learning method is associated with the restraints that a scheduled class can put onto your day-to-day activities.

?

The final learning Spanish method that I want to talk to you about is the "get a textbook and do it yourself method". This method is my least favorite of the three! The reason this method is my least favorite is because you can easily learn everything you need to know the wrong way. Essentially, you could spend all of your time learning Spanish in what you think is the correct way and it turns out that other Spanish speakers cant understand what you are saying. This method would be a great addition if you are looking to supplement one of the study methods above but I strongly urge you to take advantage of the better methods that are available to you. These other methods will give you the best opportunities to turn your language learning goals into a success.
